Things you should know about the Rockwall County Constables Office for Precincts 1 and 4:
Our goal is to provide dedicated professional and unbiased law enforcement to our citizens as well as being kept safe in a rapidly growing county. In this office, we serve all kinds of civil papers through the courts in Rockwall County and throughout The State of Texas. Our office also works warrants that we receive from the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1 of Rockwall County and through the Rockwall County Court at Law. Our office also works patrol for the citizens of Precincts 1 and 4. To help cut-down on crime. Our office also provides bailiff work for the Justice of the Peace in Precinct 1 of Rockwall County. We have also initiated an "Are You There" program. In this program, we check on a person's welfare when a loved one calls and has not been able to talk to a person or has been unable to contact them. We also work traffic in accident prone areas of Precinct 1 and 4. Our department currently has on staff Reserve Deputy Constables. These officers are certified Texas Peace Officers who work as non-paid Deputy Constables. By having non-paid officers, the department is able to cut back on our tax rate for Rockwall County.
