Rockwall County Juvenile Services provides the following services to all youth on deferred prosecution and court-ordered probation:
  • Individual and family counseling
  • AA meetings for teens
  • After Care Services
  • Family Preservation (in-home services with three to four contacts per week) 
  • Anger management classes
  • Female offenders group 
  • Experiential education
  • Community service
  • Electronic monitoring

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this department include:
  • Receiving all police reports from local law enforcement agencies for youth ages 10-16 for all Class B misdemeanors and above and all CINS offenses
  • Processing law enforcement referrals informally or through the court system
  • Supervising youth on deferred prosecution probation and court-ordered probation
  • Providing counseling services to youth and family
  • Supervising youth in residential facilities
