This section of the website is to inform citizens of the ongoing efforts of the County Commissioners, County Judge and the Consulting Team to obtain additional funding sources, begin preliminary design and ultimately bring these and other transportation improvements to fruition. |

As with any major construction or development plan there is a great deal of behind the scenes work that must be completed before any dirt is moved. This is especially true for transportation projects involving Federal and State Funding. Although Rockwall County is providing a portion of the funding for these projects, some funding will come from Federal and State sources. We must meet the additional requirements associated with those funding sources before construction can begin. Thorough planning and design meeting all requirements of the various funding sources will ensure a product that meets the expectations of and serves the Citizens of Rockwall County well into the future. |
