Frank New moved his family from Rowlett to Heath in 2009. He and his wife bought a crumbling, abandoned wreck of a house, and spent nine months bringing it back to life– fully investing with every minute of those long months in the charm of this community they had so carefully chosen to raise their three kids. Fourteen years later, Noah is 21, Wiley is 20, and Evan-Claire is 15 and for them Rockwall County will always be home. Frank is the owner of Dallas Corporate Flooring, a successful commercial floor-covering business. His wife, Kerri, has worked for the Rockwall County District Attorney’s Office since 2014 where she serves as Chief of the Family Violence Division. The New family are members of the First United Methodist Church of Heath. Frank served on the Heath city council starting in 2017 and continued serving until December 31st, 2022. Frank is a member of Noon Rotary, Rockwall Open Space Alliance, Rockwall Road Consortium and a founding member of Heath Farmers Market.
