Adult Literacy

Rockwall County Library Adult Literacy Program

We’re changing our world…one word at a time! Funded by Rockwall County, Friends of the Rockwall County Library and other donations, the Rockwall County Library Literacy Program offers free educational classes for Rockwall County residents including:
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • GED Studies and Preparation
  • U.S. Citizenship Preparation
  • Basic Adult Reading Instruction

With an enrollment of 200 students, the Adult Literacy Program has convenient class schedules, including weekday mornings and select evening classes. Our tutors are local volunteers (experience is not a requirement - we provide free training) and there is no fee for the program classes. There is a small fee for the books.

For more information about how to enroll for classes or how to become a tutor, please contact us at (972) 204-7705. Help us change your world!
