Precinct One


Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 will resume Civil and Criminal court hearings in the near future.  We will notify you via mail and/or email of your court date and time. 

If you prefer to handle your case over-the-phone, please reach out to us at 972.204.6740 – Monday-Friday 7a-4p., for options and instructions.  Should you wish to appear in person, you will be required to practice social distancing and be required to wear a face covering.  

Please be advised that individuals who are over age 65 and individuals with serious underlying health conditions (such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune systems are compromised by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions receiving such therapy) may be considered to be part of a vulnerable population for COVID-19.

Precinct One strives to:

 Preside over hearings and pass down a judgment based on the facts of the case

  • See to the security of visitors to the Justice Court
