In response to COVID-19, the Supreme Court has issued the following Emergency Orders.
All emergency orders expire on May 8, 2020 unless extended by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

NOTICE REGARDING COURT SETTINGS
Please be advised that individuals who are over age 65 and individuals with serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune systems are compromised by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions receiving such therapy, may be considered to be part of a vulnerable population for Covid-19.
If an accommodation is needed on this basis, please ask your attorney to contact the court coordinator. If you are not represented by counsel, then you may call directly.
Brett Hall, District Judge
The 382nd District Court is a general jurisdiction trial court presiding over felony criminal trials as well as civil trials including family law and juvenile cases. In addition, the court presides over cases filed by the Texas Department of Regulatory Services (CPS cases).
The files of the District court are maintained by the Rockwall County District Clerk’s office located on the 2nd floor of the Government Center.
