May 9, 2023 – The Rockwall County Commissioners’ Court approved the participation in “Lights Out Texas,” which is a program to protect migrating birds by turning off non-essential lights each night from 11:00PM – 6:00AM through June 15th. The county’s participation will be reflected by turning off the dome light at the courthouse located at 1111 E. Yellowjacket Lane.(Image by Betsy Cross)
