ROCKWALL COUNTY – An intersection improvement project on State Highway 66 and Dalrock Road is scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 27 in Rowlett. Drivers are urged to plan ahead and plan extra travel time.
Short-term daily lane closures may be scheduled between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as needed, and those will be announced on drivetexas.org.
The $4.2 million project was awarded to XIT Paving and Construction Inc. and will construct double left turn lanes to improve intersection mobility. Construction is anticipated to complete in early summer 2024, weather permitting.
