Closures:
- Rockwall County Government offices will remain closed on Friday.
- The Rockwall County Library will be closed all day on Friday, January 10th. As a result, all scheduled programs and events, including Friday morning Homeschool Book Club, have been canceled.

- Heritage Christian Academy of Rockwall is Closed on Friday
- Rockwall City offices will open late on Friday, January 10th, at 10:00 AM due to ongoing weather conditions
- Fate City Hall is closed on Friday
- Mclendon-Chisholm City Hall is closed on Friday
- Heath City Hall is closed on Friday
- Royse City municipal offices are closed on Friday, January 10th, with business resuming on Monday, January 13th.
- All City of Rowlett offices and facilities, including City Hall, the Rowlett Public Library, the Rowlett Community Centre, Rowlett Animal Shelter, Municipal Court, and Community Development, will be closed on Friday, January 10.
- The Rockwall County Historical Foundation and Museum will be closed on Friday. They will resume normal business hours on Saturday.
- Rockwall Helping Hands offices and stores will open at 12:30 on Friday, January 10.
- The Rockwall Adoption Animal Shelter will be closed today January 10. Weather permitting, they plan to resume normal operating hours tomorrow, Saturday, January 11. - Children's Advocacy Center for Rockwall County will be closed on Jan. 10. Staff is on call for emergencies.
Trash Service Update:
- City of Rockwall - There will be no trash or recycling collection on Friday.
- City of Fate - We heard from Waste Connections that they will NOT be running service today, January 10th. They plan to begin collection of Thursday (Jan. 9th) and Friday (Jan.10th) trash routes on Saturday, January 11th.
- Heath - With freezing temperatures continuing until late morning and some landfills closed, Waste Connections has delayed service until tomorrow (Saturday 1/11). Additional resources will be deployed to service the remaining Thursday customers and Friday customers who WILL NOT receive service today.
- McLendon-Chisholm - CWD Services have been canceled for Friday, January 10.
- REPUBLIC UPDATE FOR ROWLETT- Republic Services will not be running on Friday, January 10, 2025. All Thursday routes will be run on Saturday. Brush and bulk routes will all be completed on Saturday for week 1 bulk. Friday routes will be recovered the following Friday, January 17th. Friday residents will be allowed to have trash bags outside their carts with no pink tag required. They will pick up the cart and any extra household waste and recycling bags outside the cart. Commercial Frontload accounts – Hospitals, apartments, and restaurants will be collected on Saturday.
