The Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management will conduct a full-scale emergency exercise at Pegasus Foods on Saturday, August 2, from 7:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM.
During the exercise, temporary road closures will affect parts of Innovation Drive and Observation Trail. See the map of the closure area below. We do not anticipate any impacts on other businesses in the Technology Park.

This training scenario will simulate a response to a hazardous chemical release. You can expect to see police, fire, and emergency personnel on-site, some of whom will be wearing chemical protective gear. Please be assured that there is no danger to the public. The most hazardous material used in this exercise will be hydrogen dioxide (water).
This exercise is a crucial opportunity for local first responders and agencies to train for real-world emergencies and enhance their coordinated response efforts.
