The doors of the Tax Office at the Historic Courthouse have closed to the public for the final time. We’ve packed up and moved to a brand-spanking new office!
We are excited to announce that our new location will be opening at the Rockwall County Courthouse Annex, located at 1101 E. Yellow Jacket Lane, Suite 110, in Rockwall on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:45 PM.
This modern facility is designed to enhance your experience by providing more space, natural light, and contemporary amenities. Expect a smoother visit thanks to our innovative queuing system, which allows you to indicate the purpose of your visit and connect with a dedicated clerk ready to assist you. Instead of waiting in line, you can relax in our comfortable lobby and utilize our desk areas to complete your paperwork. Additionally, we offer improved accessibility and convenient parking, making your visit to the Tax Office even easier.
Our experienced team is ready and eager to make this move as seamless as possible for everyone. We can't wait for the new location, which promises to deliver the same outstanding service that our residents have come to love at the Rockwall County Tax Office.
