D-Day for V-Day started in 2017 when Dr. Stan Lowrance learned about a veteran in need of extensive dental work but without coverage. Last year, in collaboration with the Terry Fisher American Legion Post 117, Dr. Stan and his team provided free dental care to 81 veterans. Since the initiative began, the group of volunteers has expanded to approximately 40 dental professionals, including dentists from various practices, hygienists, and lab technicians, all of whom donate their time and services.
