Former Texas State Senator Don Huffines served as Rockwall County Judge for a day on Thursday, April 17, 2025. During his visit, Maintenance Director Barry Compton and County Judge Frank New took Mr. Huffines on a tour of the construction site for the future 503rd District Court, located on the third floor of the County Courthouse. They also visited the County Courthouse Annex, which is under construction and set to open to the public later this summer.
