ROCKWALL - TxDOT has shifted traffic to the temporary Eastbound Frontage Road lanes and has built temporary driveways from businesses to the new lanes. These lanes and driveways will be in effect until the beginning of next year. 3 driveways will be closed but have alternate entrances to get to the businesses (Home Depot main entrance right after On the Border, the first Rockwall Veterinary Clinic driveway, and the driveway in front of FedEx/ Cotton Patch). There should be no impact on emergency vehicle access.
ROCKWALL - On N. Goliad Street/SH 205, between SH 66 and south of the Collin County line, TxDOT has begun resurfacing procedures. There will be single lane closures and flaggers. The work includes base repairs, removal of the worn surface, and the application of new asphalt and pavement markings. TxDOT will work with emergency vehicles to reduce impact.
